Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
Professor Auerbach is a leading expert in the field of physical chemistry. He has been honored internationally for his contributions to the understanding of the dynamics of gas-surface interactions using molecular beam scattering techniques. He is perhaps best known as a pioneer in the application of molecular-beam and laserspectroscopic techniques to understanding of the microscopic details of chemical dynamics at surfaces. During his stay in Germany he will be developing a new approach to high resolution beam surface scattering using Rydberg tagging methods. |
