Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Lomnitz is well known internationally for his research on history, politics and culture of Latin America, particularly of Mexico. His work has been recognized widely for its conceptual innovation, especially around the social study of nationalism, borders, boundaries and methods in historical anthropology. During his stay in Germany, he focuses on the political-cultural study of violence and the constitutional crisis in Mexico.
