Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Elisabeth Giacobino is a physicist with an outstanding track record in quantum optics, non linear optics and quantum information. For many years she held the world record in quantum noise reduction of light. She is well known also for her recent work on many body quantum dynamics in semiconductor quantum wells. In Germany she will continue her research on quantum dynamics and quantum memories and on the study of the quantum light interacting with nano-objects. |
