Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Priest is an internationally leading expert in non-classical logics, metaphysics and the philosophy of language. In particular, he is known for his work on paradoxes, for establishing paraconsistent logic as an important branch of philosophical logic, and for defending Dialetheism, the view that there are sentences which are both true and false. During his stay in Germany, Professor Priest intends to continue his work on philosophical logic with a particular focus on the phenomenon of non-monotonic inference. |
