Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Kounnas has made outstanding discoveries in theoretical particle physics. In particular he made pioneering contributions to the development of supergravity theories. Furthermore he invented a way to construct realistic string models in four dimensions as well as new models in string cosmology. During his stay in Germany, Professor Kounnas is planning to work on flux compactifications to develop new ideas on realistic string compactifications and on supersymmetry breaking. Furthermore he wants to understand the physics of the early universe in string theory. |
