Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Sarpong is one of the most outstanding organic chemists worldwide. He has been very successful in synthetic chemistry and method development, including creative approaches to strategically rethink natural product synthesis, some of which must be described as " surprisingly unconventional." During his research stay in Germany, he plans to work out the use of cytochromes for synthetic natural product chemistry, specifically for targeted oxidations of terpenes. |
