Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Yoon is one of the pioneers of visible light-induced chemical reactions. He has made seminal contributions to this rapidly growing field of research, which will eventually enable the use of solar energy for the production of fine chemicals. In recent work, he has shown that enantio-selective photocycloaddition reactions are feasible employing visible light and appropriate chiral catalysts. During his stay in Germany, he will continue his research on novel photocatalytic reactions. |
