| Professor Mudde is one of the world's most established experts in the study of populism and political extremism. His research in party ideologies and comprehensive analysis of the populist radical right in Europe are valuable contributions that have advanced the field significantly. During his stay in Germany, Professor Mudde intends to study new varieties of populism in recent global phenomena such as the financial crisis. |
