| Professor Laskin is one of the internationally leading scientists in the field of mass spectrometry with high impact in the fields of analytical chemistry and physical chemistry. She has pioneered the development of nanospray desorption electrospray ionization mass spectrometry imaging (nano-DESI MSI), a groundbreaking method of mass spectrometry imaging that has opened new possibilities in medical diagnostics and environmental analysis. During her stay in Germany, she will be working on new developments in the field of ion soft-landing. |
