Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Vázquez is a leader in the application of network theory to plant-pollinator interactions. He discovered that plants and pollinators tend to have asymmetrical specialization; a situation in which specialists tend to interact with generalists. His more recent research focus has continued to refine the way people conceptualize and study networks in Ecological systems. In Germany, Professor Vázquez will work collaboratively with German professors to compile a synthetic dataset on how climate change, phenology, and temporal mismatches influence plant-pollinator networks. |
