| Professor Arlotta has made pioneering contributions to developmental neurobiology that earned her worldwide recognition. She uncovered part of the molecular logic that underlies the diversity of neuron subtypes in the cerebral cortex and successfully challenged the notion that neuronal identity is immutably fixed. In Germany, she will continue to advance human cerebral organoids as model for human brain development. |
