| Dr. Gabriella De Lucia is an international expert on galaxy formation and evolution in a cosmological context, and how these physical processes depend on the environment in which galaxies live. She is a pioneer in connecting theoretical models of structure formation with the observed properties of galaxies at different cosmic epochs. During her stay in Germany, Dr. De Lucia plans to refine the model recipes for star formation and chemical evolution across a wide range of galaxy masses and environments. |
