Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Pardalos is a world-leader in the field of optimization, particularly global optimization. He has made major contributions to the theory in this area as well as its applications to science, engineering, medicine and to large-scale optimization in general. In Germany, he plans to conduct research in the area of power systems, robustness of networks and analysis of massive data sets.
