Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Mar is internationally renowned for his innovative research at the intersection of cognitive psychology, literary studies, and systems neuroscience. His work on the relationship of social cognition and story comprehension, on the impact of literary stories on social-cognitive abilities such as empathy and the ability to infer and reason about other people’s thoughts, has had a tremendous impact on the field. During his stay in Germany, he intends to combine his field of research with related topics.
