Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Revermann is both a classical scholar and an internationally leading authority in the study of ancient and modern drama as well as a specialist in the realm of performance studies. His many contributions to all aspects of performing tragedy and comedy and to their religious, political, archaeological and literary contexts from antiquity to Brecht have widely influenced research. During his stay in Germany, Professor Revermann will expand the field of his interests to the systematic exploration of theories and methods as well as to the history of translation of ancient texts into modern languages.
