| Professor Bagchi is a leading international figure in reaction dynamics and molecular relaxation in liquids. Over the last three decades, he developed new theories and carried out pioneering simulations that greatly advanced our understanding of the liquid phase including solvation dynamics, energy and electron transfer, dielectric relaxation and ionic mobility to name but a few. In Germany, he intends to elucidate dielectric effects and chemical reactions in nanoconfined liquids. |
