Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Teferra is well-known internationally for his outstanding research in the field of special needs education. He has made an important contribution to the development of a scientifically proven special needs education in Ethiopia – eventually in the whole area of sub-Saharan Africa. Professor Teferra has a comprehensive insight into the field of prevention, inclusion and rehabilitation of people with disabilities. During his stay in Germany, he is going to intensively work on the aspects of internationally and interculturally comparing special needs education and on the psychosocial effects of disabilities.
