| Professor Naaman is internationally recognized for his outstanding research in Physical Chemistry. He has made important contributions to the structure determination of small molecules by Coulomb explosion imaging, and to the electronic interactions in organic molecules. Professor Naaman has discovered that helical molecular structures preferentially transmit electrons with only one spin direction. This spin direction is connected to the helical sense of the molecules. In Germany he will continue this research with electronically excited helical molecules. |
