Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Allix is an international authority in the field of damage mechanics and its application to various problems in computational mechanics including composite structures with all facets of inelastic and fracture behaviour. Professor Allix recent research focuses on non-intrusive schemes to avoid expensive experiments and to provide a reliable predictive tool. These strategies have been adapted to multi-scale approaches in time and space. In Germany, he continues his research on damage mechanics in conjunction with virtual element methods, a new discretization scheme in engineering |
