| Dr. Dimitriev is well known internationally for his outstanding contributions in the field of Arabic Studies. In his multidisciplinary research, he has generated important new insights into the history of Arabic poetry and religious cultures of the Near and Middle East. During his stay in Germany, he will focus on innovative aspects in literary and cultural studies in the field of Arabic philology and Digital Humanities in the context of his research on the Legend of Barlaam and Josaphat. |
