Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Dr. De Rubeis is well known internationally for her outstanding research on the biological mechanisms underlying autism spectrum disorder. By applying genetics, neuroscience and developmental biology to cellular and mouse models, she has identified novel genes and synaptic pathways contributing to autism risk. During her stay in Germany, she will model the structural and functional impact of synaptic gene variants on neurodevelopmental outcomes. |
