Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Harb is one of the leading mid-career social and political psychologists from the MENA region. His research on socio-political dynamics in the Arab region focuses on intergroup relations, perceptions, and the reduction of prejudice and political violence. He has explored relations between Palestinian and Syrian refugees in host communities in Lebanon, investigated support for ISIS in North Lebanon, and assessed social cohesion across several governorates in Tunis. In Germany, he will work on a cross-national comparison of social cohesion and related topics with his host.
