| Professor Zhao is well known internationally for his outstanding work on the combinatorial design of new metallic alloys. This work has the highest relevance for a wide range of topics such as sustainable energy supply, lightweight design in transportation, and high-temperature alloys for efficient gas turbines. During his research stay in Germany, Professor Zhao will work on designing advanced metallic alloys and materials that are custom-designed for additive manufacturing. |
