| Professor Zhao is an international leader in soft materials and systems. The mission of his lab is to advance science and technology on the interfaces between humans and machines to address grand societal challenges in health and sustainability. Professor Zhao has pioneered the fields of hydrogels, bioadhesives, soft medical robots, and wearable imaging. During his stay in Germany, he intends to extend his research in the fields of bioinspired adhesion, magnetic soft robots, and intelligent materials and systems. |
