| Professor Lennernäs is an internationally recognized pharmaceutical scientist with a strong interest in translational pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic research topics addressing drug treatment needs. His work on human intestinal permeability determination and the development of the biopharmaceutical classification scheme represents a milestone in this field. It includes the classification of drugs into four biopharmaceutics classes based on permeability and solubility and has received world-wide attention in regulatory sciences for drug products.
