Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Dr. Delgado-Baquerizo is an international leader in the field of biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. His research aims to advance our understanding of soil biodiversity and ecosystem functioning across natural, agricultural, and urban ecosystems, and has led to numerous groundbreaking advances in soil ecology, including generating the first global atlases of dominant soil bacteria and fungi. During his stay in Germany, Dr. Delgado-Baquerizo will continue his investigations to determine the fate of soil biodiversity and function in a changing world. |
