Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Arunachalam is well known for her interdisciplinary research on first language acquisition integrating linguistics, cognitive science, developmental psychology and clinical science. She asks fundamental questions about how children learn the meanings of words and how learning interacts with other linguistic domains. During her stay in Germany, she will extend her work to children learning German to broaden the understanding how properties of the specific language affect its acquisition. |
