Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Delgado Granados is a world leading authority on the monitoring of eruptive activity of explosive volcanoes. He has advanced our understanding of explosive volcanic hazards and risk by a combination of careful field observation, experimentation, and modelling. He has also adopted a prominent role in the civil protection of Mexico and is recognized throughout Latin America and indeed the globe as a leading authority on volcanic risk. During his stay in Germany, he will work on experimental characterization of volcanic products for monitoring. |
