Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Marklof is a leading scientist in mathematical physics. His work focuses on the interface of dynamical systems, number theory and quantum chaos. He has achieved fundamental breakthroughs, including the first proof of a case of the Berry–Tabor conjecture, and major advances in kinetic transport theory. In Germany, he will contribute to joint work on spectral theory and probabilistic methods, strengthening interactions between analysis and number theory. |
