| Professor Nuckolls is one of the most creative researchers in materials and supramolecular chemistry. He has pioneered numerous molecular designs to create materials having extraordinary and useful properties. Some of his accomplishments include single molecule electronic devices, mechanistic elucidation of phenomena from molecular electronic devices, pioneering bent polycyclic aromatic as high performance battery materials and the discovery of a new allotrope of carbon, graphullerene. During his stay in Germany, he intends to create a new generation of electrochemical materials. |
