| Dr. Seitenzahl is an internationally leading expert in nuclear astrophysics and supernova modeling. With his advanced hydrodynamic simulations and his interpretation of astronomical data, he has made seminal contributions to the understanding of the explosion mechanism of Type Ia supernovae. During his research stay in Germany, Dr. Seitenzahl will exploit his pioneering observations of supernova remnants to constrain the physics of these impressive cosmic explosions. |
