Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Tassara Oddo is an internationally recognized geophysicist whose outstanding work in seismotectonics and geodynamics has transformed our understanding of Andean subduction, megathrust segmentation, and the rheological structure of active margins. In Germany, he will collaborate on an integrated 3D thermomechanical model of the Andean margin to link seismic-cycle deformation with long-term mountain building and improve constraints on seismic hazard and lithosphere dynamics. |
