| Professor Wehrheim is one of the world’s top experts on the foundations of pseudo-holomorphic curve theory. They are world-renowned for having discovered the Symplectic 2-category together with Chris Woodward. During their stay in Germany, they intend to address foundational questions in Floer theory and its applications to string topology, higher homotopy theory, and Symplectic Field theory. |
