Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
Professor Abramowicz has pursued research on neutrino-nucleon scattering, where she was involved in ground-breaking measurements of electroweak parameters and detialed measurements of hadronic structure. In recent years, her interest has focused on the HERA collider, located in Hamburg. She was a leading member of the team which revealed the complex structure of the proton. She now is going to focus on the data from the upgraded HERA collider, which will yield a much more detailed view on proton structure and the strong hadronic force. |
