Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Teng is a pioneer in the application of multi collector plasma source mass spectrometry in isotope geochemistry. His work on stable isotope variations of rock-forming elements has transformed our understanding of magmatism, weathering, and other planetary processes and established widely used analytical standards. In Germany, he will conduct studies on fluid transport in the Earth’s deep crust.
